October is one of the two best months of the year on Dauphin. The crowds have gone, the “off-season” rates have started, and the weather is near perfect! Dauphin Island, AL- . They’re calling it “Red White and Boom” this year . . . . The Mobile Pops will perform at 6 p.m., and Dauphin Island’s annual fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. at the Dauphin Island public beach and pier, next to Dauphin Island Elementary School. Parking is available at the public beach for $5 per car. No glass, fires or camping allowed on the beach.
Please remember to leave early, traffic can be heavy going onto the Island.
